oh my gosh i got engaged on international lesbian day
hi i'm Surinna & i like to handwrite things (& include the text as an image description for those who can't (clearly) see/read my writing). I am an nb fairy princess who likes to talk about the colour of faese aura & I watch gay anime & program & wants to program more gay software & stuff. I work on the glitchsoc fork of mastodon sometimes but not much rn. I'm a polyamorous queer gay pan lesbian & i'm engaged to my wonderful fiancée @sigmaleph

mastodev thing re the new actor_type column
I noticed that the new bot nameplate stuff is going to interact a bit weirdly with the support for actors with multiple types. Specifically, the actor_type field will end up as the stringification of the array.
I'm wondering if you think it'd make sense to make that column either 1. use Postgres's json support for the column or 2. use `serialize` in the model (in both cases to allow it to support arrays of types)?
partially because i wanna do silly things that will never get merged (and probably shouldn’t even get merged in like... glitch-soc)
partially because there are a lot of actual serious that make sense on a more a la carte level and it’s kinda silly that most everyone depends on upstream to merge them to get access to them
@MightyPork very good feature thank you piggo
shout out to @MightyPork for being able to delete individual notifications
request for links, mental health stuff
would anyone be able to point me to trustworthy organizations and resources with information about legal rights of people receiving mental healthcare and things like that in the US?
like, for example, an overview of laws around voluntary/involuntary commitment from a perspective that values and respects the agency of mentally ill/neurodivergent people?
request for help/advice related to debian and thinkpads
so, i’m attempting to install stretch on a x1 carbon thinkpad
i am not managing to get the netinst installers to work: all of the options in the grub menu just result in a blank screen (i’ve tried some fiddling with kernel boot parameters without any change)
anyone have any ideas/has anyone successfully installed stretch on a recent thinkpad?
trans hacker fairy whomst is mostly on faese sprite.land account nowadays
